TAL S. DAVID, M.D.Tal S. David, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. His practice focus is arthroscopic and sports medicine surgery.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. David is a Volunteer Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UC San Diego Health and a Faculty Instructor in the San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship. He serves on the Board of Editors of the peer-reviewed scientific journal, Orthopedics. Dr. David is an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) and a member of the Council of Delegates for the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). He is a Past-President of the San Diego Orthopedic Society and a member of the Board of Directors for the California Orthopedic Association.
Dr. David has authored the textbook “Arthroscopic Techniques of the Shoulder” and is co-editor of the Visual Arthroscopy Series on Arthroscopic Surgery. He has published and lectured internationally on topics related to sports medicine and injuries.
He has been involved in the care of the injured athletes for more than 15 years and has served on the medical staff of various professional sports teams including over 10 years as an NFL team physician.
He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California.
Featured in San Diego magazine, Dr. David has been voted by his peers as a “Top Doctor” in orthopedic surgery for the last 6 consecutive years.

Dr. Nicole Friedman is a consulting, clinical health and forensic psychologist licensed in California, New York, and Virginia. Her consulting practice specializes in high performance individuals to deliver and sustain the results required to achieve and maintain world-class status in their respective industries. Dr. Friedman seamlessly works with diverse clientele serving individuals and organizations in entertainment, sports, banking, finance, philanthropy, technology, light industry, healthcare, biotech and genomics, startups, judicial and law enforcement and security. She is well known for her highly regarded skills and expertise in assessment, coaching, change management, succession planning and building value-based cultures. LORNE ABRAMSLorne Abrams started a small jewelry manufacturing business in Toronto Canada in 1965. By 1975 his products were sold worldwide with sales of over 30 million and a staff of approximately 500. The following year he successfully obtained the rights to manufacture the jewelry, pins and medals for the summer Olympics of 1976 and the winter Olympics of 1980. Mr. Abrams sold the company in 1981 and continued as its CEO until leaving in 1985. He was retained in 1986 as a consultant to fix a quality control problem with a major watch company. In 1987 he started another small jewelry company and cultivated it to a success until its sale in 2006.
Mr. Abrams has a unique close relationship with former players and current management in the NFL the NHL and MLB, some of whom are family and others that he has mentored for years.
Tony Gaples is the owner of Blackdog Speedshop, a 4 time championship winning auto racing team in the Pirelli World Challenge as well as a driver in the series. He is a partner in the Blackdog Fund and the BD energy Fund. A guitar player, avid music lover and loves to drive any form of transportation.
Kevin Noonan provides our Advisory Board with significant expertise within operational excellence, corporate finance, and entrepreneurial initiatives. Kevin attended Georgetown University, where he was an All-American lacrosse player. Upon graduation, Kevin served as a Marine Corps Officer for five years. Kevin completed his MBA at the University of San Diego, and joined the Aerospace and Defense Team at Deutsche Bank upon graduation. After Deutsche Bank, he co-founded Forward Slope, Inc., a San Diego based Technology Services organization. While at Forward Slope, Kevin completed his Six Sigma Black Belt Training & Certification, and led the firm to a Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 3 Certification.
Recently, Kevin has focused efforts on industrial automation and other advanced solutions for a variety of clients, to include both large and developing organizations.
