The LIGHT helmet is nothing like other football helmets on the market today. LIGHT's background is in the auto racing and military space. We know all about high-impact sports as well as the need to protect players. When LIGHT decided to build a helmet, we started from scratch. Old materials repackaged as something new and special wasn’t going to work.

Whereas current football helmet models simply redirect the impact, LIGHT helmets contain special components and materials that are designed to absorb impact.

LIGHT Helmets are the lightest football helmets in the world and provide superior protection to the athlete as well as better performance on the field.

Composite shell provides strong, lightweight protection. Interior is lined with patented Armor Foam that retains shape and absorbs impacts. Chromoly tubing in face mask makes helmet balanced and lightweight. Your helmet can be resized within your existing shell.

Helmets ordered from our website typically ship in 5-7 business days via ground shipping with signature required. Custom helmets and facemask orders average 15-20 business days before shipping.

Once we receive the helmet in house and the liner has been changed, we will send an invoice with payment link for return shipping charges and will ship the helmet out to the customer once we receive payment.  

Expedited shipping is available once the helmet is built and
ready to ship.  If you would like
expedited shipping, we can provide pricing, then send you an invoice with payment link for the additional charges. Once we receive the payment we will ship the helmet to you.

With our custom fit pad kit, we will have the proper size for any player.

LIGHT Helmets not only allow athletes to perform better and be safer on the field but they provide a less expensive option for leagues, teams and schools. LIGHT Helmets guarantees we can refurbish helmets (our competition often requires new helmets to be purchased) and we can resize helmets (within a given shell) so coaches, teams and leagues don’t have to overbuy helmets and have them sit on the shelf due to the number of players that wear any given size changing.

The LIGHT Helmet is NOCSAE approved and was awarded a Virginia Tech Five Star Rating. The NOCSAE approval allows you to wear the LS2 VARSITY, LS2 YOUTH COMPOSITE, and LS2 POLYCARBONATE MODELS in competition.

Yes, the LS2 Varsity and Youth helmets are NOCSAE approved for use on the field. 

Each LIGHT Helmet ordered is built to specifications. Our restocking fee is in line with other helmet brands.  Shipping charges are not refundable.

The EPP Foam Liner should be cleaned with soap and water,
let it dry thoroughly before installing any additional adhesive. Please apply pressure for 5-10 seconds when re-installing adhesive.
