We absolutely love this helmet!!!

I don’t typically take the time to write reviews but the Light Apache youth helmet definitely lives up to all the hype. This is my 11 year old son’s 4th year of tackle football. He is small for his age, but from day one has always been an extremely aggressive player. He plays running back and outside linebacker every fall in our local tackle league and in the spring on a select tackle team. We usually switch his helmet out every season with a specific helmet (without naming names the most commonly used helmet in college and the NFL). I always bought this particular helmet because of reviews and the thought that if it’s good enough for elite athletes at that level it has to be good enough for my son. I was about to buy this seasons helmet when I found the Virginia Tech helmet rankings and saw how much the Light Apache rankings crushed what I have always historically purchased. I ordered the Light Apache, and now halfway through my son’s Spring season playing some of the toughest youth teams in Texas my son has nothing but positive things to say. He says it doesn’t even feel like he’s wearing a helmet, and he has no more headaches after punishing hits. Overall I highly recommend this helmet, and have nothing but positive things to say about this product (also they have very responsive customer service there was a slight delay in receiving the helmet due to a delay in some of the components and customer service responded to my emails within hours of me sending an inquiry). Great product and company!!!
