My son loves his hemet. His high school did not have a helmet that fit him correctly. The extra large Apache helmet is perfect for him. The face mask he wanted was out of stock when we ordered. The representative found sent the helmet with my son’s second choice in face mask. The company then sent his first choice of face mask out when they came back into stock.

This is my son’s 3rd light helmet. Playing tackle football for 4 years and we have been with Light Helmets all 4 years. He is a wide and slot receiver and he gets targeted almost every time he even looks at the ball…He is tall and not heavy so the hits are extra dangerous for his weight. Lots of bruises, shoulder pain, legs and back stiffness by the end of season, but no concussions and I have some vids that would make you cringe…but he gets up every time with no head issues. He will be playing Varsity next season and loves the new Apache Light design and less egg shape than his previous light helmets. Hits will keep coming, he will keep catching and hopefully the light helmet will keep doing its job.

Exactly what I ordered, I wanted something safe for my 8 year old for his next football season and it's a small comfort knowing the science out behind creating these helmets! It's way lighter than his previous standard helmet and fits perfectly. Price is steep but for my babies safety I didn't mind

Shipping was a lot faster than anticipated and got to Hawaii in less than 21 days. My son loves it so far. Our season doesn’t start until Summer so I’ll be back to review it again once it’s been put to the test.
